KLiP Interactive - Home Wiring Policy

This policy provides information on the options available to you regarding cable wiring located in the interior space of your dwelling unit. Home wiring is that cable which runs from your TV set to a point approximately twelve inches outside your dwelling unit. Home wiring includes all the wiring inside your home, including extra outlets, as well as splitters, connections, in-home amplifiers, fittings or wall plates attached to the wire. It does not, include equipment that is provided to you by KLiP Interactive.

KLiP Interactive installs high-quality coaxial cable and other wiring materials to ensure the strongest and clearest signal for you and your neighbors. This wiring is critical to the integrity of the quality of your services. Upon request, we will provide an estimate of the labor and materials required to remove, add, replace or maintain cable home wiring at the applicable hourly service charge plus a charge for materials. All customers also have the option of selecting a qualified third-party contractor, or perform the services yourself, as long as your actions do not interfere with our ability to meet the FCC's technical standards or to provide service to other customers.

You may not attach any device or equipment to your inside wiring in a way that may cause a violation of government regulations, or that impairs the integrity of the local cable system, such as creating signal leakage. In addition, you may not attach devices or equipment to the wiring that result in a degradation of signal quality to you or your neighbors.

It is important that the highest quality cable home wiring materials are used and installed properly to avoid signal leakage and to maintain signal quality. If cable home wiring that is not installed by KLiP Interactive results in harmful or improper signal leakage, or the need for a technician to visit your home for service, we may hold you responsible for rectifying the problem. KLiP Interactive is required by FCC (Federal Communications Commission) rules to terminate service to any location where signal leakage problems are not corrected.

If you elect to have KLiP Interactive remove, replace, rearrange or maintain the wiring inside your home, we are not responsible for problems relating to the operation of customer-owned consumer electronic equipment such as computers, radio or stereo equipment, televisions, VCRs, home antennas, etc., which may be connected to the inside wiring in your home. We are, however, responsible for problems relating to any equipment that you lease from us, other than problems caused by or associated with lighting damage, improperly connected customer owned equipment, tampering, neglect or abuse.
